Raise Right is a gift card fundraising program (formerly Shop With Scrip) that allows SFCCA families to earn money towards the cost of tution.
Here's how it works:
For every gift card you purchase (physical or digital), a percentage of the face value is sent as a rebate to SFCCA. (You still get the full value on your gift card!)
50% of the total amount of rebates earned by your family and friends will be directly credited to your tution account for the 2024-2025 school year.
Please see below for answers to some Frequently Asked Questions.
YES! During the enrollment process, friends and extended family will be able to indicate the student for whom they are earning money. If you have more than one child who attends SFCCA, they can simply enter the family name if they wish. This is a wonderful way for friends and family to provide tangible support for your child(ren)'s education.
There is an earning percentage assigned to each retailer. When you buy a gift card, you still receive the full value, but SFCCA is sent that particular percentage of the face value of your card. For example, if you purchase a $100 gift card to Land's End (when it is time to buy uniforms!), since the earning percentage is 14%, SFCCA will receive $14 from RaiseRight. See the next question to learn more about how this will directly benefit your family!
Once SFCCA receives the rebate from your purchase, 50% will be set aside as a credit towards your tuition bill. From our example above of the $100 Land's End card with a 14% earning rebate, $7.00 will be earmarked for your family's tuition credit while the other $7.00 will be applied as general SFCCA fundraising earnings. It is a win-win for your family and for our school!
Not at all! RaiseRight is a year-round program. After the May credit, money earned will begin to accrue as a credit for the following school year and will be applied the following January.
Depending on the retailer, gift cards are available as physical cards or digital cards. Some of the cards also have the option to simply reload without purchasing a new card.
SFCCA will offer ordering periods where you can have your physical gift cards sent directly to the school for pickup to avoid shipping fees. See the SFCCA RaiseRight page for the currently scheduled Ship to Coordinator ordering periods.
Redner's is considered a local supplier and will be handled differently. If you are interested in purchasing Redner's gift cards, please submit the Redner's Order Form (with a check made payable to SFCCA) to Mrs. Wensel in the school office. The Redner's gift cards earn a 5% rebate.
