We hear this morning from Jesus about the appointment of the Twelve Apostles, whose commission was to preach the Gospel from town to town, curing the sick and driving our demons. A pretty tough job, both now and then, but as Christians that's the mission we all have signed-up for, and what motivates us here at Saint Francis Classical. And how best to do that evangelical work?  The great St. Francis de Sales, whose Feast Day is today, gives us a clue by focusing on a few of the most important attributes from the Beatitudes - particularly humility. As my Dad was always fond of saying when I was growing up: "Eat a slice of humble pie!".  Let's all do that this weekend and beyond, shall we?  Have a blessed day!
